Play fort from pallets

There are many pallet projects posted on the web. This project was for my grandson’s birthday party. We set up four of these forts, two per side, for Nerf gun wars. The setup and breakdown time was very short, and cost was basically nothing since the pallets weren’t really changed and the outdoor screws used to hold it together were not damaged in the process.

Each “fort” uses four pallets, a spare board from another pallet and less than a dozen outdoor screws. I used 1.5 inch screws, but next time I’ll go for 2.5 inch to make it a little more secure. On level ground, three pallets can be used.

By the way, the kids had a blast!

Seat Belt Strap Fix

On some older vehicles, the seat belt latch can slide down the strap and be difficult to reach as it slides around the seat near the bottom. Take a medium size binder clip and attach it to the seat belt strap about a foot or so up the strap. When the latch slides down the strap, the binder clip will stop it from going too far.
